What a wet and windy week. It was worth extending the deadline for the shoeboxes as we now have a full table full. With the recent wet weather the front of the church was once again flooded but at least it was nowhere near as high as the water was back in June. Mike Crockett did manage to get here today but virtually every road entrance to the village is either a passable flood or is actually closed and only navigable by boat!
60 shoeboxes were sent off the distribution centre in Birmingham and this year they are destined for the Ukraine. We hope the little children enjoy themselves this Christmas.
