Our October coffee morning is raising money for the Purple Community Fund. This charity works in the Philippines with the poorest of the poor, families living and working in slum areas without a reliable source of income. They work to create upcycled products particularly know for the aluminium can ring pulls which their Pilipino communities convert into all kinds of wonderful products.
The dark nights are starting to draw in and the winter gardening has started. Has anyone asked you what your Christmas plans are yet? On 19th September we have an extra coffee morning for Macmillan nurses so do try and join us then. We all know someone who has suffered with cancer. Come and find out more and help support us. |
